A: Medical benefits, dental benefits, clothing, emergency food and school supplies. · Q: Is there a doctor who works for Children International? A: We are affiliated with some of the doctors in the area. · Q: The kids can just go to the doctor when they need to because they are sponsored? A: We schedule regular screenings and the necessary follow-up for the children. Also, if they need it because they are sick, that is okay too. · Q: Where do kids go to receive benefits? A: They go to their centers where the people who work there distribute the benefits. It is often the mothers that volunteer who do the work at the center. If the sponsor sends a package, it is delivered to a child's home. · Q: Does every sponsored child get the same benefits? A: Yes, unless the sponsor wants to send extra gifts. · Q: Are there computers and books available at the centers? A: Yes · Q: Do you have programs for the older youth to get into a career or more education? A: We encourage them, but they will have to go to the community schools. We don't have a special school for them. · Q: How many kids can be helped in each center? A: We have over 325,000 children and are trying to reach 400,000. · Q: You're not sure how many each center can support? A: No, it varies. · Q: How do you stand out with the other organizations? A: We are ranked with the BBB and we can give you the phone number to contact them and ask for our credentials. · Q: What percent goes to children?
